Houston – Center for Houston’s Future is pleased to welcome LowCarbon America as the newest member of our Hydrogen Steering Committee.

The Committee is working to develop a vision and action plan for a regional clean hydrogen hub.

LowCarbon Co., Ltd., a Korea-based company with operations in the United States, including Houston, offers carbon capture, storage, recycling and utilization technologies and solutions. LowCarbon’s technology can also be used to produce clean hydrogen.

Company officials are focused on a Houston project, given our energy assets and infrastructure.

“We are excited to have LowCarbon America join our important work. The company brings innovative technology and an important voice to the table,” said Brett Perlman, CEO of Center for Houston’s Future.

“Houston, given its longstanding role as an energy leader and innovator, is the logical place for LowCarbon to put its technologies to good use,” said Cheol Lee, CEO of LowCarbon Co., Ltd. “We look forward to helping the Houston region succeed in developing a clean hydrogen hub.”
