Center for Houston’s Future Announces 2022 Board Updates
Center for Houston’s Future is pleased to announce changes to our board for 2022.
Andy Steinhubl, who has served on our board for four years, was sworn in as the Center’s Board Chair for 2022.
Steinhubl, a retired KMPG partner, is an active supporter the Center’s work in the community and has been deeply engaged in the organization’s work around the energy transition.
Astley Blair, Chief Financial Officer for Marine Well Containment Company, served as the Center’s Board Chair in 2020 and 2021. We greatly appreciate his service and leadership and are pleased that Blair will continue serving on our board in 2022.
The Center also welcomes Bruce Mann and Janeice Weinand.
Bruce Mann, Director of Freight Mobility for Port Houston, has demonstrated his dedication to the Center while serving on the board as a representative of the Leadership Alumni Committee and is transitioning to regular Board service.
Janeice Weinand, CEO of Leadera Consulting Group, joins the Board as a representative of the Leadership Alumni Committee.
Center for Houston’s Future is a 21-year-old nonprofit that brings business, government, and community stakeholders together to engage in fact-based strategic planning, collaboration and action on issues of great importance to the region. It works via strategic initiatives, community engagement and its leadership program. Its strategic initiatives are on the energy transition, including hydrogen; the economic importance of immigration; and health and health equity.
