Center for Houston’s Future is excited to be a Summit partner and invites you to attend the Texas Energy Summit.
The Summit, now in its 18th year, continues to focus on the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan, and in particular air quality and public health improvements from energy efficiency, renewable energy, electrification, and other clean energy technologies and strategies.
The two-day virtual event is free and open to the public. Speakers include Matthew Tejada, Director of the Office of Environmental Justice at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); Commissioner Allison Clements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC); Jimmy Glotfelty, Public Utility Commissioner of Texas; Amy Myers Jaffe, Managing Director of the Climate Policy Lab at Tufts University; and Doug Lewin, Director of the Texas Energy Summit.
The Summit is hosted by the Energy Systems Laboratory, a division of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and part of the Texas A&M University System.
